The most important thing that any of us can know is that we don’t know everything. It just seems very obvious to me that no political party, country, church, or any other group of people is right or wrong about everything.
But while creating this first issue, I received a monumental encouragement. The subject of Global Warming led me to two complete strangers who could have hated each other for having such antagonistic views.
But something very different and very extraordinary happened. Both writers assisted the other vigorously to make each argument as strong as possible. They selflessly, and with impelling integrity, admitted that there were certain inconsistencies in their arguments, and furthermore, encouraged the other to exploit these flaws.
They laughed together, learned together, and most importantly worked together.
Both people held their honor high above their beliefs. Their mutual conviction of truth being far more important than belief proved to be the foundation of a great new friendship.
This first issue is the testament of those two people, and I thank you both for inspiration.
