In short, resistance to intelligent design derives from philosophical convention, not observed evidence.” - Dr. Stephen C. Meyer

A team of conservative critics of evolution, headed by Ben Stein (he just released a pro-Creation movie called Expelled), have been promoting the “Evolution Academic Freedom Act” which will allow science teachers to propose Intelligent Design (ID) or Creationism alongside the Theory of Evolution. The Committee passed the bill, and next the Florida State Senate will vote on the Act.
